Whether you are buying property in Dubai from abroad, opening a bank account in Abu Dhabi, or authorising a family member to act on your behalf, getting your Power of Attorney right the first time saves weeks of back-and-forth. We coordinate the drafting, Arabic translation, notary appointment and MOFA attestation so you don't have to.

Common questions

Quick answers before you message.

How long does it take to get a Power of Attorney in the UAE?

If you are physically in the UAE with valid Emirates ID and passport, a POA can usually be drafted, translated, notarised and ready the same day or the next working day. POAs prepared overseas take longer because of the attestation chain (typically 1–3 weeks depending on your country).

Does a POA need to be in Arabic?

Yes. Any POA used inside the UAE must be in Arabic or bilingual (English-Arabic). The Arabic version is the legally binding one. We provide certified legal translation as part of the drafting service.

How much does a Power of Attorney cost in the UAE?

Costs vary by emirate and POA type. Dubai Courts notary fees typically range from AED 220 to AED 2,000+ depending on the POA's monetary scope. Drafting and translation are separate. Send us your requirement on WhatsApp for an exact quote.

Can I make a POA from abroad without flying to the UAE?

Yes. The POA must be signed before a notary in your country, then attested by your country's foreign affairs ministry, then by the UAE Embassy in that country, and finally by MOFA UAE once it arrives here. We coordinate the entire chain.

Can a Power of Attorney be revoked?

Yes. The principal can revoke a POA at any time by executing a Revocation Deed before a UAE notary and formally notifying the agent and any third parties relying on the POA (banks, DLD, courts, etc.). We handle revocations as well as new drafts.
